SYSTEM OF A DOWN - TOXICITY. The best album all year, hands down. If you disagree, you have no taste so go away before i taunt you a second time. Less political, more fun, better playing, beautiful lyrics. The perfect combo that makes this once good band now phenomenal. 10 (of 10).

SLAYER - GOD HATES US ALL. HAHAHA. The only album that could possibly be worse than the new Incubus. 0 (of 10).

WEEZER - THE GREEN ALBUM. What can be said about the coolest geek band around that hasn't been said. They may take forever to deliver, but when they do, it's amazingly catchy, free-for-all music. It is, by all measures, a well-earned third album. Long live the kings. 9 (of 10).

INCUBUS - MORNING VIEW. i was trying to think of a word that rhymes with horrendous, but instead let me just say two words "Sugar Ray". The classic element of playing good solid rock music and when that doesn't make the biggest of money, "de-volving" into crappy pop shit. Biggest let down of the year i am sad to say. 2 (of 10).

GWENMARS - DRIVING A MILLION. Best new Pop/Rock artist. These guys have about the same feel as, say, Oleander, but they are so driven both lyrically and musically that it's hard to imagine them not making it big soon...get She Hung The Moon, it is a spectacular song in it's own right, and the whole album will flow from there. 9 (of 10).

JIMMY EAT WORLD - JIMMY EAT WORLD. In case you AREN'T in love with JEW yet, now would be a good time to start at the roots with this self-titled piece of work and then hike your way to the newest album (a freaking awesome album). It's not as good as what they're up to now, but it helps you get a better feel of how much they've progressed and where they got their beginnings.

I really ate a handful of dog food when i was like 8. Crunchy. Unusually plain. Made me drool. No just kidding.
